THE 21st ALANYA INTERNATIONAL TOURISM AND ART FESTIVAL
As the days count down, the 21st Alanya International Tourism and Art Festival is quickly approaching. This year, the festival will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic and Turkish culture and heritage. A star-studded line-up of performers will take to the stage, illuminating the festival with their talent and presence. Yıldız Tilbe, Azerin, Tan Taşçı, Hadise, and Arslanbek Sultanbekov are just a few of the performers that will take part during the course of the festival.
The festival will feature a wide range of events, including music, dance, theatre, and art exhibitions. There will also be a number of cultural activities, such as traditional Turkish food and handicrafts. The festival is a great opportunity to learn about Turkish culture and experience Alanya’s beauty.
The International Festival is an annual event that aims to promote the cultural values and heritage of Alanya on a global scale. With different themes each year, the Festival encourages participation from sister cities. The previous Festivals focused on reviving forgotten and outdated cultural values. Inspired by the Seljuq period, silk culture, weaving, local cuisine, nomadic migrations, and even bananas, these Festivals have successfully showcased the richness of our heritage.
As a tradition, the festival area now serves as a platform to honour the contributions of both foreigners and local residents of Alanya throughout history.
FESTIVAL WILL BEGIN WITH YÖRÜK GÖÇ MIGRATION (Migration of Turkish nomads in Anatolia)
The Alanya International Tourism and Art Festival is back for its 21st year! The festival will be held from June 2-4 in Alanya, Turkey. The theme of the festival is “The Turkic States and the 100th Anniversary of the Turkish Republic.” The festival will feature a wide range of events, including music, dance, theatre, and art exhibitions. There will also be a number of cultural activities, such as traditional Turkish food and handicrafts.
The festival will kick off on Friday, June 2, with the traditional Yörük Migration (Migration of Turkish nomads in Anatolia) and Festival Cortege. The procession will start at 17:30 in front of the Ataturk Monument and will end at Iskele Waterfall, where the Izmir State Turkish World Dance and Music Ensemble will perform at 18:30.
ARSLANBEK SULTANBEKOV, HADİSE, TAN TAŞÇI, AZERİN AND YILDIZ TİLBE CONCERTS
The festivities will kick off with a mesmerizing opening concert by the esteemed Arslanbek Sultanbekov on Friday, June 2, at 21:00. Set against the backdrop of the majestic City Hall, a colossal stage awaits to showcase the magnificence of his performance.
As the clock strikes 22:00, the spotlight will shift to the illustrious artist, Hadise, who will captivate the audience with her enthralling presence and enchanting melodies. A true luminary in the music industry, Hadise promises an unforgettable experience that will linger in the hearts of all who witness her artistry.
On the following evening, Saturday, June 3, at 22:00, Tan Taşçı will take centre stage, serenading the people of Alanya with a collection of his most cherished songs. Prepare to embark on a melodious journey as his soulful voice resonates through the air, evoking emotions and stirring the depths of the audience’s hearts.
Bringing the curtain down on this remarkable festival, the enchanting Azerin will grace the stage on the evening of Sunday, June 4, at 21:00. Then, at 22:00, the iconic Yıldız Tilbe will take her rightful place on the stage, ensuring a grand finale filled with passion and musical brilliance.
THE RICH CULTURAL HERITAGE OF THE TURKISH WORLD WILL BE SHOWCASED AT THE FESTIVAL
Encompassed within the tapestry of the festival, a vibrant array of events dedicated to Turkish culture and art will be displayed. Turkish gastronomy, handicrafts, performance arts, literature, and music converge to showcase the magnificence of this extraordinary heritage. The ultimate aim lies in fostering cultural exchange on a global scale, illuminating the vast depths of the Turkish World’s culture to the world.
MEMBER COUNTRIES WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE ORGANIZATION OF TURKISH STATES
The Directorate of Culture and Social Affairs will set up a large tent in the middle square of the festival, eight smaller tents, will be placed around the large tent. In this area, visitors will be able to learn about the traditional and contemporary methods of Turkish cultural heritage.
The tents will be allocated to the member states of the Organization of Turkic States. These will include Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. Observer states (Hungary, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkmenistan) will also be allocated tents. In these tents, countries will showcase their traditional handicrafts (painting, felt, fabric, rug, etc.), gastronomy and culinary cultures.

400 STANDS WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE FESTIVAL
Within the scope of the Festival, nearly 400 stands will be on the Pier to host visitors. The culture and art stands where the rich cultural heritage of the Turkish World will be promoted and the food and beverage stands where the local delicacies of Alanya will be tasted and promoted will be flooded with visitors.

Mayor Adem Murat Yücel invites all citizens to the Alanya International Tourism and Art Festival, which will start on Friday, June 2 and last for 3 days. The festival will feature a variety of events, including nomadic migration, concerts, and exhibitions.
Mayor Yücel said, “This year, we determined our theme as Turkic Republics on the 100th anniversary of our Republic. An unforgettable festival awaits all of us with nearly 400 stands. We will host our guests on the İskele and with the concerts we will organize in the evenings. I invite all our citizens and visitors to our festival full of culture, art, gastronomy and fun.”
