The international passenger count experienced a notable 21 percent surge, reaching 53.5 million, while the domestic passenger traffic totaled nearly 17 million, indicating a commendable 14 percent rise.
The airport’s commercial plane traffic exhibited robust growth, escalating by 20 percent to exceed 455,000, with international plane traffic witnessing a parallel surge of 21 percent, reaching 341,000, as reported by data from the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMİ).
